  • a history of 4 days. made a lot of miles on foot or by subway. a city that is preparing the Olympic Games.

landed at Heathrow. took the train to Victoria Station. The first thing is that 3uk allows me to surf with my iphone on the internet and be able to tweet for all holidaymakers. through my twit my parents can know what I'm doing.

I arrived at the hotel in the city. single room with tv, iphone docking station, cable network and wireless. I look out the window and see the offices of loyd in london. I suffered a picture and I update twitter.
I turn on my mac book pro and I connect to wireless. okay. no problem.

if I was in Italy I would not find connectivity. and if there was slow. but here I can easily connect and make a video call on skype with my family. Party all right, in Italy the weather is bad. in London the sun shines.
we leave the hotel and the city is full of people, it's Friday afternoon.

I remain fascinated by all the buildings that I see. especially the reception with large windows and large spaces with plaques on the wall indicating the offices. I think: one day I'll want to have a company that has an office and a plaque on the wall.

Also in Italy we have big city like Milan or Rome. but London has a whole other dimension. everything is great. roads, buildings, the number of stores.

17pm. offices close and pubs fill. in England there are no bars that make appetizers. the pub is a beer and do not eat anything. I go to other bars and a few hours after meeting the same people who drink more beer. I think that if I do something like that should be rushed into hospital.

in the following days there was nobody in the city, the pubs closed at 22, it was Saturday.

we go to a club near Piccadilly Circus. many people. let's go dancing in a bar. After 10 minutes two girls want to know, I say that I am Italian and a girl makes a wry face. 2 minutes after they leave. they dislike Italian. I do not understand. I will be because the Italian economy is in crisis...

the other 3 days were wonderful, does not tell what I did or what I saw.
I think I would live in a city like that.
but I think we all want what we have not, but when we have it no longer attracts us.

I'm like a dog chasing a car. The chase all the time, but when I take it I will not know what to do
