  • This is my 100th cowbird post.

I just wanted to use it to say a big thank you to everyone who has fired an arrow at me. They all hit their target.

I greatly appreciate your valued feedback, and I am glad that I have been able to touch you in some small way, be it stirring a memory, raising a tear, maybe a laugh, or even making you reconsider that which surrounds you but which you may have overlooked.

You have all done, and continue to do, the same for me.

It is your carefully aimed arrows that have spurred me on to keep posting, thinking, and posting some more.

So here is my 100th post.

A cow - to remind you that just outside your door is a world of wonder that you may daily step out into. Just watch where you put your feet! Unless of course your cow is house-trained.

A bird. To remind you that behind everything you think you know and understand, and which may look iridescent and beautiful, even a peacock, there may often be something darker, yet more interesting. And that you must simply look for it, then stare it in the eyes and tell its story.

    Thank you cowbirders.
