  • In 1940 mom's senior high school class all signed her coat, which she stitched over with nice embroider thread. She keep it tucked away for 70 years ... then in 2009, a few months before she started to decline at the end of her life – while at a home where she had a small apartment, she dressed up for a costume party with the other seniors. She added a hat with a little note (full of attitude) ... and walked off with the first prize that day! She was very proud of her self ... and so was everyone else.
