  • The news crew always end their reports by saying, "Channel 4 on your side!" But they don't know that on my side there isn't a care about football, new medications for obesity, sex scandals or really any two sided problem that that they work up a bunch of coverage over. But in this house sound is covering every surface. Not a dusty corner is safe away from the loud volume of 'on your side' weather and car ads.

    If the news crew really knew what my side was they would know that:

    I prefer living alone with no television, but those days are no longer possible.


    News hour on this side causes the listener to get dumber by the minute, so it is best to ignore it.
