  • It was many moons ago that a tree provoked this thought process within me. As i walked around my town on a glorious summers day, I couldnt help but feel calm and collected as I slowly pottered round and abouts and here and there and everywhere.

I was, in esscence, your definition of a young teenage boy. I drank, did the occasional drug, and "hung out" with my friends of yester year.

However this one day I came across a tree. it was like many other trees. aging, growing, sprouting new leaves whilst old ones died on the ground. slowly but surely growing towards the sky. I'd passed it many times in my life, yet this day I had a thought. Out of everything on our planet, trees have adapted well, learnt to live with what they have and do well from it, and take their time to grow to their full height so as not to fall.

I took from that one vital message.

Be patient and take your time with things and your life will reach full bloom when it is ready.

    It hasnt failed me yet.
