  • My second leap for 2012 has been to notice, appreciate, and record the positive things in life; the things that make me smile, the things for which I am thankful, the things that truly matter.

At the beginning of the year, I was super intentional about this leap, but in the midst of my other, more tangible leap, I have often let this one fall by the wayside. That makes me sad, because these are the things that make life so beautiful. I don’t want to be so busy that I overlook the millions of small, but life-giving, moments that make up each day...

...long nights working furiously into the wee hours on something that fills my soul and refreshes my mind. The silliness and sense of community that emerge during these exhausting, but meaningful power sessions; collapsing in fits of laughter, chugging Red Bull, working toward a common goal, sharing dreams, learning to trust one another. beautiful morning commute, covered perfectly in fresh, crisp snow

...genuine, authentic friends and teammates. The way they are woven into my life; impacting my story in ways they can’t even imagine.

...riding on the back of a scooter through the city, laughing until I cry, making memories

...eating lunch on an inviting patio; the wind in my hair, the sun on my face

    ...mind-blowingly delicious vegan cheesecake

...holding our hard work in my hands; seeing our dream come to life, one step at a time

    Life is good.
