  • While sitting at a fancy-pants resort in my bathing suit sipping margaritas, I see a parade of men go by me with coconuts in their arms.

    In what can only be described as questionable Spanish, I ask the garden worker why they are removing the coconuts from the property. He replied, "Bonk Cabeza!" Translation - BONK HEAD! Meaning the coconuts are removed early before they have the chance to bonk tourists in the noggin who might be lounging near the palm trees. Makes sense.

    Here is the gardener using a machete to chop off the top of the coconut so we tourists can enjoy some fresh coconut water with a straw. Cheers!
