  • I am not an organized person by nature but over the years I have learned that it pays to make sure everything is in its place. Those times when I am rushing about, trying to find the final thing I need to get a task completed on time, are the times that have taught me that a certain amount of organization has benefits. People who have not learned this important lesson frustrate me to no end! Actually, what is really frustrating is the people that refuse to learn this lesson. They will not accept that they make mistakes, and therefore, deny themselves the opportunity to learn from them.

When the frustration becomes too much to bear I take a trip to the nearby Nelson Lakes National Park because in nature everything has a place - even me. And with a lake so calm and pristine who could worry about a thing like a little bit of mess? As the calmness comes over me I know that it is myself I must work on improving. I cannot change other people - that is Nature's job. The Swan knows this.
