  • Two years ago, I was homeless and starving. I was a feral stray cat that nobody wanted. I spent many nights cold, hungry and lonely just hoping to survive the next fight. I kept thinking, "Why doesn't anyone love me? Did I do something wrong?" Sure, it wasn't easy living on the streets constantly getting into fights. But that was nothing in comparison to the emotional pain and suffering I felt as an outsider.

As luck would have it, I came upon this house that left food out for the strays and opossums alike. After a long period of observation, I knew this is where I belonged. So I slowly let them in. I allowed them to get close to me and touch me. They were so eager to have me around they almost immediately invited me inside. Opportunities like this don't come around often, I had to act quick. Plus, I had them eating out of the palm of my paw! I gladly accepted their invitation inside and am happy to say it was best decision we both ever made.

Now I've got an entire recliner to myself (Although I am polite enough to share it with my new friends), I indulge in feasts fit for a king (As you can see in the photo, I am no longer starving) and I have a loving family to spend the rest of my life with. I never would have thought my life would take such an amazing turn for the better but it did. I am so happy I've found my place in life.
