  • They gave me a new monitor at work today. Bigger, because of all the work I do designing publications. The screen had a different aspect ratio, so I searched through my album of personal photos, wanting to crop one for new wallpaper.

    I didn't choose this photo, but I looked at it for a while. I took it three or four years ago when I was visiting a local Presbyterian church. I'd only been in the sactuary once before, and I never noticed what amazing stained glass it had.

    All the windows had been designed by the same artist, and they were all glorious examples of mid-twentieth century stained glass.

    This particular window made me smile, though. It's so earnestly politically correct...
