  • Its hot and my fat cat is having a problem with it.

Just about anything can be rationalized. Some of us live by hard and fast rules and some by making decisions on the fly. I remind myself, humans are not computers that fail at vicissitude. We are creative.

Throughout the inconsistency of life and the consistency of death - we humans have the unique skill to roll with just about anything. So, I look at my cat and search for the rule permitting my thought to make sense. "Make it make sense." Such a peculiar phrase. Nature doesn't make sense. The chaos of the world doesn't make sense. Death loving everyone with equal abandon doesn't make sense. We humans make it make sense. We depend upon previous sets of rules, the rules of the religious, what our parents taught us, our capacity for data making and analysis... Some of the most interesting stories concern the creation of sense out of chaos. The glimmers of sense illuminating our way...

I am in new and convoluted territory. I think of what I am going to say to the other humans who will search for my rational.

I was just trying to help...

    She was so very miserable...

    ...

    We do it to dogs...
