  • as the definition of change, or of circumambulation, the tours I've made around stupas and mountains, desires, districts like restricted longings and in shoes, the range of hopes, I have, and sacred senses of moving further South and North, of littering the lawn with Indian kite paper and string, of telling you a triumphant story of how I made it through the suburbs ALL ON MY OWN also without my mother to help, and over the nightdays until today again and until tonight's improv music lesson with Juliette Claire Forstrom, her own anomaly, like shoes spices, turrets. translation: I had red suede clogs which also met with their demise, quickly-ish, but maybe not as quickly as the current vegan clogs, actually, the first a gift from a friend with whom I've shared boyfriends, eloquent and daffodil-like, a princess in a fine sense, which I wasn't, but somehow, a sweet / stylish shoe from another woman who knew about such things, her name is Molly, and she is now dating Michael Weiss, a Michael in a series of Michael's before Michael Forstrom (Mike B. & Michael Weiss who were both Buddhists from Austin, TX, and Michael Wasserman, a Buddhist from Yale), these previous Michaels do not have children but they have intense/faithful/glorious paths as dharma cooks, construction workers and plumbers: the pure path. That's it. And, my little boy is also a faithful one. He wears red clogs, too without complaynt. I think they go OK with his space guns. And, his Dad, whom you know, wore clogs his senior year in high school in St. Louis Park, Minnesota after returning from a summer in Sweden. How cool, and how perfectly vain and true it is to write. With love....Katie Y.
