  • I was walking downtown in Hudson when I came across this fabulous Electra Glide parked in front of the sub shop. I stopped to admire her. Who wouldn't? She was clean and shiny and broad where a broad should be broad, etc.

Behind me, I heard the rustle of a paper bag, and when I turned around, I was greeted by an huge smile and the proud Harley owner. He pointed out the metal plate that proved her authenticity, "one of only 850 made," he said. He was pretty happy to be able to show her off.

I asked if I could photograph her and he agreed. She takes a nice pic. Then I asked if I could take one of him astride her. He did. As he pulled away a moment later, sub tucked into his leather jacket, I shouted, "Thank you!"
He shouted back over the rock-loud, whiney of his steel horse,"Honey, you made my day."
