  • Every night during tourist season a family of glass blowers sets up a tiny table and miniature blowing shop on the streets of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

Their shop is in the same spot every evening except for rainy nights, reserved with cash paid out to certain officials. Tourists love the flame. They stand and watch, then buy the glass pieces.

I take a photo and leave a tip as I love to watch artists, but do not buy the art, imagining the difficulty of getting a delicate piece of glass back through the airline system.
