  • I will get up at 5:00 a.m. to drive and see a sunrise. It is worth it to me. The Blue Ridge mountains outside of Asheville, North Carolina, in August, was such a draw. There is something about being the only person out there, on the roads, on the trails that adds an element of awe to the experience. The colors in the sky, the mist in the mountains, surreal. The quiet, the peacefulness, the beauty of the moment, priceless.
