Your task is not to seek for love but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you've built against it. - Rumi
My life is fairly orderly - I leave the house neat without dishes in the sink, bed made, all cabinet doors shut so when I come through the door, my eye is not distracted by stuff left out or a chair out of place. Lately I have been placing boundaries on my compulsions too... food, staying awake too late, taking and posting photographs on cowbirds (only one story per day). When I wasn't paying attention, I left the gate on my heart ajar a tiny bit. A warm hand has crept in through the opening and held my heart in its palm, not willing to let it go. And now I accept this attachment as wide and deep as the ocean that separates us most of the time. In the blink, life if different, I am different. And it's all good.
