  • Birds on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico are glorious with color. Here is an amazing yellow Social Flycatcher that I saw in the jungle hanging above an open air cenote. It spends its days swooping in great acrobatic arcs collecting flying insects for dinner.

    Several birds work together and spend their afternoons chattering and fighting for position among the jungle trees. They reminded me of teenagers bickering and wrestling for attention amongst their friends.
