  • A quick language lesson: In Swedish they have a word for raking the lawn in spring to get rid of dead debris. In Norwegian we have a word for burning said debris after it has been collected. But Swedish does not seem to have a word for burning it. And Norwegian does not have a word for collecting it.

    These thoughts run through my mind as I watch my daughter handling our bråtebrann from the debris that I have refsed together.
