  • My 2-year old daughter, Poppy, has discovered the wonderful ritual of sitting down together for a warm drink. In our case, coffee, in her case, warm cocoa. Her face lights up as the miniature cup and saucer are placed before her; every sip followed by a sigh and a 'yum!'.

    It's funny how much these rituals we adults often take for granted can mean to a little person. Being included. Sharing time and conversation together. Taking time out from work, emails, being busy, to just Be Together. Ahhh.

    I think it must be time for another cuppa now.
