  • I pledge allegiance to my mind and its ability to think freely.
And to my rebellious nature which questions every aspect of my reality. I strive to be utilitarian with my actions and expand on the “golden rule;” I will do unto others, as I would want them to do onto me for the greater good of our planet and all her inhabitants including those outside my specie.

I refuse to surrender to the temptation to blindly follow the lead of those around me since they obediently stare at the back of the head of the person in front of them. I vow to challenge my perception of reality and of those around me.

I acknowledge that the goal of self-realization is wide and riddled with illusions however, “I’d rather be a dissatisfied Socrates than a satisfied pig!” For I have already burned that bridge and danced on its ashes.

I declare my independence from the enslavement of popular culture but refuse to escape it. I will not fully abandon the collective construction of reality in which I exist. I pledge to be an active participant and explore its boundaries in an effort to expand it. In turn it will broaden the reality of those around me, since I truly believe the nature in which I perceive my reality will affect the reality of those around me.

More over, I pledge to always be the happiest I can be. For if I construct an exalted existence then my joy will spread. I will surrender myself fully in the form of a hug, always and truly.
