  • Harvey hates to wear shoes and he's a normal klutzy three year old. He wanted to show me the bruise on his foot, but I couldn't see anything. "Let's take a picture of it," I suggested. He forgot the pain and became a DP, working on getting his foot up and positioned so we could snap its pic in the best light.

    I wish I could be so easily distracted from the little hurts. Sometimes by the end of a day at the office, I feel as if EVERLAST is stenciled on my forehead. Just a little while in the presence of those who live in the moment (my grandsons) and I am re-energized. It's a terrific drug, TSP (Time-Spent-in-the-Presence). If I could bottle it, I'd be able to retire...but then I likely wouldn't need it.
