  • Here's my oldest son in front of a supermarket, on a weird elephant sculpture. That not yet 3 year-old boy decided it was perfect to climb on, despite my rejections of the idea. I love this picture because it truly captures my son's essence. Before he could walk he was climbing on and over everything, finding ways to manipulate his body to get to new heights. It is a metaphor for his nature, he always pushes boundaries, especially mine. It is what I love most about him and what scares me the most. Son don't ever stop climbing.
