  • Yesterday morning, as I approached the crosswalk to the BART station, one of the Sikh cab drivers walked towards me, pointing and smiling.

    I had my music on, so removed my earbuds.

    He stepped towards me and ran his hand over my left lapel, then playfully tugged it. "Nice suit," he said. "Good color on you." He flashed a superhuman smile.

    I thanked him, and crossed the street to catch my train.
