  • 'Metropoly' day at high school, always a cause for some fun and laughter (mainly at ourselves mind). This was a day where normal programming was cleared out of the way and we were left with the challenge of traversing the huge 'Monopoly' board that is west Yorkshire.

We allowed to assemble into teams of our own choosing, and given a few weeks to decide on our costumes (can you guess our theme?) before the day was upon us.

Each team were given a monoply board with places all over the county marked on it, our task: get pictures at as many places on the board as possible to win a small prize, though from talking to the previous years it was more the pride of getting the most places that was the most enviable prize.

That day was brilliant fun, giving us plenty of time on the trains round yorkshire to have enjoy each others company, to get lost and run, a lot (we had a plan of which trains to get, but we were a bit optimistic in the calculations of our walking speed) .

we were meant to be hippies by the way, some of the costumes were majorly better than ours, i think i may have let the side down on that one, oops.
