  • My wedding was small - less the 20 people gathered at 7 AM, in a apple orchard on the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge; a place were the Nisqually river ends it journey from high above us on Mt Rainer, to met the waters of the South Puget Sound.

We each read a few words standing inside a medicine wheel of daisies with our guest around us. We shared two songs the group sang with us, then my husbands twin (a fine jazz musician) played while our friend May sang Buffy St. Marie's Wedding song.

After the music, everyone came close around us and touched us. The love and blessing given in the touching of hands on the two of us completed the celebration.

We were married by a group consensus!
