  • To look at this, you'd think it was someone's proud attempt at organizing their books, or a teacher's classroom corner. You wouldn't think it was the culmination of over 8 weeks' worth of planning, organization, collection development, independent bookstore negotiation, or attempts to create a kid-friendly, accessible catalog. All of which it is.

    This miniature library rests in the corner of an upstairs, not often used room at a local community center. The space was introduced to the kids who frequent the center today.

    It may not look like much today. But I'm a determined girl, with plans to teach the space (and help the kids) turn this library house into a home.
