  • I started to lose my hair in my early 20s, so my girlfriend at the time gave me this snow globe for my 23rd birthday. This one has floating hair instead of snow.

What I love the most about this one is the look on the guys face, which to me is the look of utter resignation. It’s all in the eyes. The eyebrows minutely raised towards the middle of his forehead. The deep set eyes, crow’s feet etched in the corners. Then those blue eyeballs, like my own, set under his lids, as he realizes that his youth, like his hair is gone, and it is never coming back.

And he is realizing this as he stares in the mirror. He wants to let out a heavy sigh, but what is the point? This is your life, and it will never change. Deal with it.
