  • I focused on the waterline and forgot there was a sink in the way.
My head hurt but I wanted to finish what I was doing so I asked my daughter if it looked OK.
She nodded her head and ran off to play.
I finished attaching the new faucet and went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. On my forehead was a big bump and an angry looking little cut.
"Anna! I have a cut on my head!"
She ran into the bathroom and looked at my head.
"Oh, that isn't bad. It isn't bleeding. I hurt myself all the time. Those kind of cuts don't count."
I looked in the mirror at my bloodless wound.
What other wounds should I put in that category of not counting because I didn't bleed?
