  • and to be honest, I don't know how to start.
I've typed and erased countless words, sentences, paragraphs and I cannot decide which story to tell first, how to begin this journey of sharing my stories with the eyes and minds and hearts of other human beings.
I'm here to tell my stories, because for too long they have been untold, and a story untold is like a sandcastle near the shore: it will slowly disintegrate as the waves wash over it until even it's memory is washed away from the surface of the sand.
I'm here because I never want to forget the details of another memory of an experience that I leave floating in my mind until it becomes lost in some distant compartment I'll never again locate.
I'm here because I exist, in a world which is so rich and vast and full that I'll never learn all there is to know, give all I have to give, read all that has been written, do all there is to do, meet everyone there is to meet, or say all I want to say. Despite this inevitable shortfall, I can try; to learn, give, do, change, meet, say, love, discover, read, teach, create, and be all that I can; and in the act of trying, there are bound to be stories.
