  • To some tiny creature, at the bottom of the bay,
is the heavens, their sky, nothing but a wave?
Are the rocks on my shore a mountain to their sky,
the creatures below me, what think them of I?

My final photo of the day at Beauchamp Point, Camden Maine.

The barnacles remind me of stars in the sky, over a mountain that reaches up to touch them. It kind of makes me sad, to think that to them, we are the gods that control their destiny. What if our gods polluted our world with their garbage?
Maybe they do - a sort of mental garbage that corrupts the soul. That's a weird story to think about.....
