  • All my life I looked up to my dad. He was the only hero in my eyes. We went on adventures that involved imagination and bravery. ‘There is not one thing in this entire world that could hurt my dad’ I thought. I was wrong. There is one thing that can always break people down, a broken family. The people who fall victim can either surrender to its distruction or overcome it. Like the hero I knew he was, my dad chose to overcome it. Now he fights many different battles that I’m sure he will come out victorous but he has to believe like I do. Eventhough he feels overwhelmed I still believe that he will come out the other side. A broken family, a seemingly lost cause, and even a sickness can’t take down my dad.

He now begans the battle for his life against a terrible sickness but he’s not alone. I’m here for him, every step of the way, like he always was for me.
