  • Sitting here today, this minute and in this place. I have the urge to look over my shoulder, to peer back in time. To remember myself years ago. And to think about those people, those places that I journeyed through time with. Some for a while, some brief and fleeting. The mistakes, missteps and lessons learned.
    To think, with all the errors I had made that I would be given another chance. Another day filled with sunshine and joy.
    Looking forward, I see the face, the smile and hear the laugh that will be with me crushing into the future.
    That would be my daughter, Lilly Mae. Now three.
