  • Up.

A direction, a concept, an idea some of us may not think about enough.

Many times I walk through the streets of Manhattan and watch people constantly looking down or forward. They look at their phones, at the pavement beneath their feet, and sometimes just looking without absorbing what is living around their everyday lives.

Up has an ending and a beginning. The end to an architects design, the beginning of our sky and the transition to the world of space. The apex of a tree, the start perhaps to a life.

Up has possibilities. Up can remind us of how much there is, and what we are all a part of.

Take time to look up, think up, be up. Who knows what you may find or see for the first time.
