  • I stopped by the hives to say hello.

    You're supposed to tell the bees things.

    I was so fascinated by the guard bees wafting about outside the hive, that I asked them a question instead.

    "What's it like? What's it like to be a bee, to smell those pheromones and know things?"

    The guard bees floated around so slowly, paying me no mind even when I went up close. It felt good to be so trusted by them.

    Their only reply was a soft lazy buzz as they drifted about like they were in slow motion.. I guess being a bee is just like that some days.
