  • When I attended a portraiture class ten years later, the teacher asked us to find a photo that had strong light and shadows, so I chose a photo that my husband had taken of me when i was twenty four.

As I painted I revisited my life in London when I was a young mother with dreams about my daughters' future.

Most of my dreams came true.

Then I had my third baby, a boy after having two girls. It will take me a long time to get back into painting portraits again.
