  • I find myself caught in a madness of real and unreal throughout the week. The chaos of what I have to do day by day, and having to do them with all these thoughts in my head. The struggle to be able to fall asleep at night, and stay asleep in the morning, is overwhelming.

But when I am next to you, it's all different. Almost as if I am falling into a soft comforting hammock in the middle of a beautiful spring day. I feel myself drifting off into a peaceful sleep. My mind is clear, my body feels rested, next to a comforting and familiar smell. I sleep. No thoughts, no dreams, no nothing. Just deep sleep.

The sound of your heart breathing cradles me and finally, I can breathe in relief. It's almost like I've been running all this time without rest. I am able to just let it go. Let everything go. Just sleep, next to the breathing of your heart.
