  • MacDonald’s regularly conflicts with my inability to make any kind of decision. I usually need a bit of pressure to snap me out of my docile state of mind and get me thinking, but decisions send my mind into a blind panic of choices and consequences. I just don’t know what i want! Being indecisive is horrible. It stops you trying new things, I usually just go with what I already know instead of taking the risk and facing the terrible consequences of choosing chicken nuggets over a big mac.

There are suddenly so many things to consider. There’s my current mood, how hungry I am, what I’m doing later that day and how my choice of meal will effect my plans, how messy the food is and how badly burger source will show up on what I’m wearing, the weather outside… The list goes on in my head as I frantically try and read the menu under the bright lights at the front of a queue of people who seem fully confident in their ability to order a meal. It’s stupid because what ever I eat at McDonald’s makes me feel like I’ve been punched in the stomach. At least going to McDonald’s in the first places an easy decision, going to Subway is a complete mind fuck for indecisive people.
