  • My hopes of the first football game of our senior year were very high. I wanted to win that game with a passion flowing through my body. But not everything will go your way. We started out the game kicking the ball off to Todd County. This turned into one very long football game. They returned the ball for an easy touchdown, I thought we could turn the game around when our offense hit the field, but it was as if our team already lost heart.

Early in the second-half I had an interception in the end zone, but came down on my ankle wrong and ended the game for me. I sat on the sidelines watching my brothers play as hard as they can, and still no luck came for our team. Game Over, the score was a horrific sight. The locker room was quiet, but we all knew the team had to keep moving on and start to work harder. This was the beginning of the end for us seniors.
