  • I am standing in the parking lot at Walmart in downtown Cancun. A shoe shine man set up office next to the carts and I caught him in action on a 100 degree day in Mexico.

Well worn cowboy boots need to be taken care of, right? The customer smiled shyly at me, a local man who lived close by, and I got this shot. A few minutes later his wife came out after having shopped inside and they walked home together; both satisfied customers.

Life's simple pleasures are found in the people of your community - what part of your neighborhood do you love? Perhaps it's a shoeshine man or maybe it is your postal carrier, but it is always about the people you share your world with.
