  • It was nearly a year ago when I began thinking of leaving my full time job to create the project.

I remember the skype call with my parents before I made the final decision. My father was drilling me with questions trying not to show his disappointment while my mother just listened intently.

I used my broken arabic and simple phrases to help them understand.

Finally, a flip switched for my mother. Her side of the computer brightened as an endless grin took shape.

    In her broken, adorable english:

"Ok, Victor! Go! Jump! What you need? I can come help!"

My dad simply shook his head. He couldn't help but crack a smile as well.

That is my mother -- that has always been my mother.

Today, you'll find her working harder than ever in an awful Real Estate market and sending me random small checks in the mail with instructions to "go by nice dinner for yourself" & "remember God is with you. He make every day --- so smile!"

So Christi, I know what you mean when you say the words: "wonder woman, inspiration, and constant cheerleader."
