  • Change comes in waves.
Some flow beneath us, only to be noticed when we look back days, months, years later. But some come crashing into us, bringing chaos, disconnect, and a chance to start anew.

My past few weeks have been flooded with a change silent to everyone but me. It's nothing like an epiphany or a headlining event in my life. It is simply an unexpected shift in paradigm.

Maybe it's the fact that spring has come to Chicago two months early. Maybe it's reconnecting with an old friend. Back to basics. Something has put me in a good mood.

I may not be standing exactly where I want to be. But try and name one person who is. But I'm going in the right direction, and I'm going with a smile.
