  • A ray of sun and beauty finds me
    I stand illuminated bold
    Drenched in the brilliant detail
Fully aware of my own glowing wonder
    How power filled I am
As I willed the light to me.
Surely I am destined to own the light
I deserve eyes appreciating my sparkle .
I believe I am the light.
Do not ask me to look with smug pity
Upon you who live in the darkness
I only seek other's in the light
We dance mocking the invisible darkness
Till Sudden disblief's coolness covers me
Wind pushing thieving clouds over my ray
    My light
    my wonder
    my identity
    My hope is gone
    Truth slices my foolish joy
The light that was not mine
    Now has forgotten me
It plays beyond the mountains in far valleys
What I once believe I owned I can not even see
The light that meant so much
Now I know is only a bit of weather
wrapped in a hint of luck
    I miss my dazzeling lie
