  • Most of the time I can remember each section, each shape, each wiggle and color. But sometimes I don't recall certain areas at all, scrawled words, even though I just cut and colored the whole thing. This gap in memory is evidence that something else, some unnamable thing birthed the work. You live your life but you didn't birth yourself. All I can do is self-actualize with the materials at hand.
