  • This is a portrait of one of my co-workers, who also became a truly great friend in the past year.
    Last year, when I was doubting my marriage and slowly started to realize I was not happy with my life, he listened a lot to my doubts on whether I should get a divorce. At some point I expressed my insecurities on whether it would be a right choice: "But what if I'm not going to be any happier in any other relationship?" I asked. "Do not ask yourself whether you're happier with this man or someone else," he told me. "Ask yourself whether you are happier with or without this relationship."
    Several days later, I told my husband I wanted to get a divorce. Now, a year later, I am truly happy and grateful for the choice I made. Always choose the path of happiness...
