  • Saturday night, early March, and I stand behind the fence and snap this shot of bored suburbanite golfers out for an evening of practice at a multi-level driving range.

When I first catch a glimpse of the range it looks like a strange military tower; lights blaring, tiny balls shooting out at odd angles, bright colors blending with the green. It becomes evident, however, that this is the place the upper middle class suburban peeps go to drink, shoot, and network.

As I drive past I note that the parking lot is filled with BMW's, Mercedes, and high-end family vans. I wonder what they talk about inside that fence?
