  • When I was younger I thought that all the round cannonballs were shot high with curvy, funny trajectory through air like in animated movies. And you could step aside and avoid them hitting you. Later I learned that in real life cannonballs were shot straight horizontally close to earth towards enemy troops so that they bounced and bounced and tore dozens of limbs with them as they bounced and bounced and bounced to the horizon like SuperBalls.
