  • In William's photograph of the glasses ("Focus"), he found a small message on a candle which he had not seen in the photo, before. The words SIEMPRE LO MISMO. I looked closely, following his words, and then I saw more lettering, more words around the candle. SI BUSCA.


    Or did it read, on the unseen curve, Si Buscas, or maybe Si Buscando, or Si Buscar, or Si Buscaste?

    Did it end with love or droll or cynicism or funny, or all of the above?

    But it seemed apt: William had looked and he had found, IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME.
