  • Yesterday I had the privilege of mentoring young entrepreneurs from Buenos Aires and Cape Town, South Africa. The ideas, the passion and the energy that these gentlemen brought to their work was inspiring.

It was like speaking to anyone in the entrepreneurial communities here in the States. You could drop these guys in San Francisco, Boulder, CO or Austin, TX and they would not only fit right in, they'd stand out just the way every aspiring entrepreneur here wants to.

We immediately spoke the same language. We were not talking just in English. We were talking in curiosity, problem solving and what's possible.

The meetings were in the Livestrong Foundation in Austin, TX. With imagery and references to bikes everywhere, it was a reminder of common languages. So many things are universal regardless of linguistic divergences. Love, entrepreneurship, science...even riding a bike.
