  • When do you call it first love? For me it was not in high school, I was not allowed to date. Not in college, had to spend most of my time training for gymnastics. It happened after I moved back home, I was twenty two. I didn't even have a license to drive, if I remember correctly. She was a college freshman. I truly liked her, we were friends. I loved having person not like me to talk to. But when so much of normal life was denied you, how do you go about being in love. Physically I was a young man. Emotionally, I was a 12 year old. God this is so sad... This first love ended because of distance. Really not that far away, but far enough to allow others to distract her.
Dedicated to Lauri P. but this is not about her, that is for another aspect of first love. From a distance of 30 years.
