  • It's been 2 years since I last stood on the peak of the Grand Teton. As time passes, my thoughts return to its rocky cliffs and trails more frequently.

All the sensations are there, my heart rate increases, a slight feeling of vertigo sets in, adrenaline starts to flow, and I'm breathing a little deeper. I feel intense and mixed feelings of joy, fear, exhaustion, and accomplishment.

I'm just lying in my bed, but the mountain keeps calling.
